In Creative Talk #11, we welcome two of Norway’s most renowned photographers for an evening on light, darkness, presence, and the power of photography. With Arne Beck and Ketil Born, we invite you to a conversation between two strong photographic perspectives, two distinct temperaments, and a shared interest in how images shape the way we see the world.

Arne Beck is a photographer, neuroaesthetician, and Festival Director of the Nordic Light International Festival of Photography. He works at the intersection of visual art, technology, and communication, with a background in art history and neuroaesthetics from the University of Bergen.

Ketil Born is an internationally award-winning photographer, known for strong contrasts, intense portraits, and a distinctive visual language developed over several decades. Together, they open a space between Nordic light and darker image worlds — between the sensuous and the reflective, nature and technology, experience and image.
