Creative Talk #14 Community Landscapes

Date: 30 October 2026, 17:00

Venue: POETIC Vågeveien 7 – Loennechengården, Kristiansund

We celebrate the completion of Community Landscape Averøy at Bruhagen and reflect on the journey that has brought us here. It began with Welcome the Monster in 2003, and continued through the Nomadic City workshops at Røssvatnet in Norway, Gapahuk in Lithuania, Community Landscape in Tromsø, and the opening ceremony of Bodø2024, culminating in a permanent, site-specific work in front of Averøy Town Hall.

The talk explores creativity, process and construction: how form emerges from a place, how timber is charred, cut and shaped, and what happens when architects become the builders themselves.
