POETIC has signed a contract with Betonmast to provide architectural design, energy analysis and daylight studies for Nardo Bil’s new facility in Kristiansund.
The development will include new showrooms for Volvo and Polestar, two brands closely associated with the transition to electric mobility. Conceived for an automotive industry undergoing rapid change, the project must respond to evolving expectations around technology, energy performance, customer experience and spatial flexibility.
POETIC’s commission encompasses architectural detailed design, energy calculations and daylight assessments. Bringing these disciplines together within one team allows the showrooms, workspaces, indoor climate and energy performance to be developed as an integrated architectural solution.
The project will be delivered in close collaboration with Betonmast and the wider consultant team.
“We see this as more than a conventional automotive facility. It is an opportunity to explore how architecture, energy and daylight can shape compelling showroom environments for an industry in transition,” says Hans-Petter Bjørnådal, Creative Director at POETIC.
We thank Betonmast for the contract and their trust, and look forward to the collaboration.
