POETIC wins BIG SEE Architecture Award 2026
We are pleased to announce that POETIC has received the BIG SEE Architecture Award 2026 for Folkeparken Primary School.

The BIG SEE Awards highlight architecture distinguished by design excellence, cultural awareness, and long-term societal value. The recognition acknowledges a project that approaches learning as a spatial, embodied, and social experience—where architecture, landscape, and everyday life are conceived as an integrated whole.
Folkeparken Primary School is designed as an open and resilient learning landscape, firmly grounded in place, materiality, and scale. The ambition has been to create spaces that support calm, orientation, and a sense of belonging—while remaining robust, adaptable, and durable over time.
We extend our sincere thanks to BIG SEE Architecture Awards, the festival team, and the international jury, as well as to our collaborators and the City of Kristiansund for their trust.
T
he project will be presented at the BIG SEE Festival 2026 in Portorož, Slovenia, where POETIC has also been invited to present the work on stage.
